Parr Story
With over 70 years, Parr has a bit of history! In 1952 a little auto body shop came to life, founded by Mr. Ken Scissons. This small business started as a dream and a labour of love. Now many years later, it is still a dream and a labour of love. The humble beginnings of this business set the foundation for the vision and values that we carry with us today.
Ken retired in the 1970’s and sold the business to his niece, Judy Ledding and her husband Dan. In that time the business prospered and they employed several mentors and ambassadors that the Parr Team consider part of their family today. In the year 2000 Tom Bissonnette’s dream came true when he finally bought Parr Auto Body (a shop he had managed for the Ledding family back in the 1980’s). Tom and Barb Bissonnette put their heart and soul into Parr’s success. Shortly after purchase Tom hired Chelsea to manage the front office and then hired Brayden, Shane and David, along with other core team members that have and continue to carry Parr into the future. Parr earned the reputation of building great technicians, fighting for this industry, honesty and loyalty to their customers and community.
Since 2012 the current ownership group of Chelsea, Shane, Brayden and David have continued to build this local business with vision and values at the forefront of everything they do.

Our Production Shop
Although we are a production shop, every job we produce is truly a custom repair. We strive to get you back on the road as quickly as possible using lean processes through our shop. Lean means reducing waste in our processes and having clear steps through each department.
Our Customer Care
Besides using the most up to date tools and equipment to repair your ride, our care for customers is world class. Getting in an accident is traumatic and stressful. We have the expertise and empathy to help you through the entire repair process. With great communication and customer education, we’ll ensure you’ll feel confident in all aspects of your vehicle repair.

Parr’s been locally owned since 1952. Don’t we look good for our age? All kidding aside, Shane, Brayden and David are journeyperson collision repair technicians and will all have a hand in getting you safely back on the road. Chelsea, our Managing Partner is building business, taking care of customers and ensuring our team is in good shape. Each of our owners believes in the values of Parr and volunteers, coaches and spends time in our community.

Our team is continuously learning. Technology, welding, safety to name only a few. Our technicians are I-Car Gold Class and Platinum Certified. Our refinish technicians have the newest training on refinish techniques. The learning in our industry never stops. We have specialized training in welding, advanced repair techniques and many OEM specific training classes.
